Notre Dame des Marais

Porte Saint Julien

Then, the town knew its most important development from 1480 and during the hole XVIth century. Indeed, Lord De Guise favoured construction and trading activities.

Today, its architectural riches such as Notre-Dame des Marais church, Saint-Julien gate, the old cloth and grain market or Saint-Lyphard Chapel, are the memory of the rich past of La Ferté-Bernard.
